Cute robot

Takara has come up with a clever mini-humanoid FII-RII, which was jointly developed with NTT West last September. Once you connect the FII-RII to a PC via USB, you can control electric appliances even from outside the home through Internet accessible PCs or cell phones.

For instance, you can switch on/off lights or record TV programs by remote control. Also, a built-in digital camera in the eyes of the gadget serves as a web camera, which enables you to monitor what goes on while you are not at home.
